    Things I enjoyed:

All my palm devices (V, T|E, T|E2, TX)
    Canon ixus 60
    KOSS Portapro
Matrox cards (Mystique, G200, G400 wich I still use at work)

    Things I hated:
    Sony-Ericsson K700i
Dlink router (I seems to have supressed the make, and replaced it with a broad distrust for the brand)
If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

Ah I forgot the Gxxx series. I've got a G550 at work and G400 in storage.

My office chairs (Vitramat 200 at work and a Vitra Ypsilon at home) and sofa (Leolux Volare).
Onkyo Integra hifi system, Psion 5mx, Blaupunkt navigation system (despite its quirks), Matrox cards (the dual Xeon as a whole), and the Nikon D100.

And let's not forget the piloting lessons ;-), still regret not having learned some years earlier.

Siemens ME45. hell of a phone, had two over about 6 years - and one was fixed in the middle of nowhere, a village in Tanzania, by a guy who had never seen a Siemens mobile phone before and who had to run a generator to power his soldering iron. a few hours later the display was working again. and then there was this 2-story drop on a stone floor. or the week it spent covered by snow in Vienna, and only turned up after it melted. tricky to get the salt crust of, but still working. loved them.

IBM T23. had it for 5 years, only problems with the backlight (fixed under warranty), then finally the system board died. still plan to replace it, if I get a cheap spare one. ant colonies in the notebook, sand, 40+°C in tanzania, micro-ants crawling around behind the display, nothing stopped it from working.

Nikon D70. always reliable, even on Kilimanjaro & Lappland.

          my Swiss pocket knife.
          my Trangia cooking gear.

Slim Devices Squeezebox (what a network mp3 player for the home should be like!)
            Apple MacBook
Sony Ericsson k610i (a bit boring perhaps, but it just works - very well!)
Logitech X-230 (very cheap speakers that sound amazing for the price - not HiFi of course, but they look and sound a lot better than 37 EUR)
A jacket I bought at Zara, which I unfortunately lost in a club in poland
There's an Opera in my macbook.

              My 3 last cars:
              c. 1993 Toyota Camry: possibly the most comfortable car, yet a good roadholder.
1998 Honda CR-V, a good allrounder and excellent on wet dirt roads
2007 Honda Civic Hybrid: a challenge to drive economically but hi-tech fun!

              Hardware: nothing

              Software:
              POPFile
              MediaStudio Pro
              Brian (the devil incarnate)

nothing too exciting there. while in my "office" in Tanzania I noticed ant trails going into the notebook, but never saw any coming out again. guess they were attracted by dirt in the keyboard. not big ants, but small, nearly translucent ones - they crawled up the rubber feet, got between the battery and the case, and went further in from there (small opening for the bios-battery). some came out with the hot air (huiiiii... ), some started crawling around on the diplay bezel, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed at all. in the end, I got rid of them with regular cleaning (the desk with ethanol, not the notebook).
when I completely disassembled the notebook half a year later (back home), I found quite a lot of (dead) ants inside - possibly died a horrible heat dead and/or electrocution.

more annoying were the ants that managed to get behind the display. I thought a dead pixel had developed, until it started running around. more followed later, but I think all of them got out eventually. half a year later the display became unusable because of dirt on the reflective foil - when they fixed the backlight (see first post), they didn't seal it properly afterwards... which I only realised, when I replaced the display myself three years later.

£100 on a petrol lawn mower. So much easier than anything tethered.
                      £7 on a carpenters square.
                      Dell 2407 WFP...ok it's a long term loan, but I love it.
                      Leather settee with recliners
Clarks stout shoes with 'Activ Air' soles
                      Silverstone TJ06 case
                      Nintendo Wii
                      ABRU folding stepladder

And in my head: Mazda RX8

Wow! How much lawn does it move per gallon?

But the RX-8... mmmhhh, what a nice car. But look at its consumption

I know, its not a 'sensible' car. But one day one will be mine, even if only for a while.

My steam cleaner, the Vaporetto I use it for everything
and the Meile Red star vacuum for everything else. I bought these almost 10yrs ago ( a little pricey but in the long run they are well worth it )
My 94 Honda accord 270K kms, with just a little rust
My memory foam mattress, my back loves it.
My Nad HT receiver and Paradigm speakers, a nice way to relax or to rock the house.
and my old cast iron freaking heavy frying pan that I took from my father.
