    Not a tsunami, but incredible none the less. There is an underwater mountain range off the coast of California that produces 40-50 foot waves, called the Cotes Bank.

      Yep, not a tsunami and waves that big really exist. The reason for the Jet ski is that the guy trying to catch teh wave either could not paddle fast enough and/or the surfer needs lots of speed to stay ahead of the wave so as to not getting annihilated.

      I own a DVD that is about these big waves. It is pretty incredible. I think it is called, "Riding Giants"
      Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.
