I should fire up my Criterion LD copy of "The Seventh Seal" tonight in honor of his passing. I remember first watching his films in high-school when our local PBS ran all his older films.
I read of his death earlier today along with two other Bay Area residents, Tom Snyder (71) and Bill Walsh (75), who both died of Leukemia.<TABLE BGCOLOR=Red><TR><TD><Font-weight="+1"><font COLOR=Black>The world just changed, Sep. 11, 2001</font></Font-weight></TR></TD></TABLE> -

sad thing also... this being an obituary page... a very dear friend of mine died but 4 days ealier.... i have been grifed by that news... and now this
