  • Baby-killer Couey gets death....

....in the Jessica Lunsford (9 y/o) murder by lethal injection, per Florida law.

He entered her home in the night, kidnapped and raped her over 3 days, put her in garbage bags then buried her alive with her stuffed dolphin. She died of asphyxiation while trying to claw her way out.

If any mo**erfu**er ever deserved death this one does

Yup. Lets hope it doesn't take years to happen either.

I disagree. I don't think he JUST deserves to die. I think he deserves to suffer quite a bit before hand.

Nah. Making him suffer won't bring her back or right a wrong. However, keeping him alive at our expense is wrong, and keeping him alive (thus he could potentially re-offend) is wrong.

No it won't, but klilling him won't bring her back anymore.

So why not make him suffer before killing him? He made some suffer before killing her so why doesn't he deserve the same?

What if he did it to your child? Think of it that way.

Edit: i'll pay to keep him alive just to make him suffer. Bread and water doesn't cost all that much.

Why, will it make you feel better? Will it make the little girl's parents feel better?

I hope I'm never in that position, but I don't think I'd get any pleasure/satisfaction/closure/whatever out of him being tortured. You have to remember he's not a rational person like you or me with the same value systems, he is insane. I don't think you can cure that, and you don't want to take the chance that a perceived cure didn't work. So, rather than incarcerate the sad individual, kill them and that's that.

Edit: and don't think I'm soft about this. I have a professional acquaintance about whom there are strong substantiated rumours that he has posessed child porn. I can't bring myself to speak to him unless absolutely required, no matter the damage it may do to my career.

A battery acid IV, radiation overdose and especially an induced pancreatic duct obstruction come to mind.

Neh....kill he bastard, but give her dad dibs on pulling the switch.

My wife has the best idea. Put the guy in a room with the girl's mom. Tie him down and let the wife bring in any two item of her choice. Close the door and leave the two alone for a few hours. Problem solved.

@Doc: if I was the father I wouldn't pull the switch.

@Fat Tone: I know that killing him will give the parents relief in the sense that he'll never be able to do anything bad to anyone ever again. I also know that these types of people can never be cured either and that incarceration is a joke. I just think that if someone does somethign bad, then you should have to suffer the same way you made them suffer so that you know the pain you've caused them, that's all. Bu tthen again, some people don't ever feel guilty. I don't know what else to say.

I think letting him go a few rounds with Mr. Sybian and then burying him alive in garbage bags would be fitting.

F**k all this humane treatment of a creatures like this.

Yeah sorry, I knew that wasn't well written.
When he arrived, it was despite wide-spread rumours and several direct approaches to NOT employ him at any cost. F**K knows how he got the job. I was hoping it wasn't true and was discussing it with someone fairly recently and found that he was indeed the subject of a serious investigation. He is hated, and I do mean hated, because of his personality. One or two that think he can help their careers put up with it (he is exceptional in his own field). Strangely he can even be charming and a good laugh in the pub (so I've been told). Psycho.

Just the opposite. I'm against inhumane treatment. Don't stoop to their level, it won't fix or help anything. Just remove them because you can't 'fix' them.
