Well......... the Labor Day itself, was relaxing. Did some sleeping ‘till 10 AM (from 5:30AM ), washed our cars, and we went for BBQ at our friends house.

But the Labor Day Weekend was quite busy, starting Friday 7PM until Monday 5:30 AM.

In Between we drove from Chicago to Toronto, CA. (via Sarnia), spend a day and at the Ontario Place. They had beautiful decorations for the ongoing Chinese Lantern Festival there, along with the Air Show (that I wasn’t aware of). Had dinner & spend the night in Toronto. Next day in the morning we drove to Niagara Falls and did spend the whole day there. At 9PM local time crossed over the bridge to US and drove home on our side of the lake.

Well, Labor Day is on the first of May here and even though it was on a Tuesday we somehow managed to convince all the teachers at my University to get a prolonged vacation, it turned out to last till the following Monday.
On another note, I spent this weekend studying and still have some more to do. That's what I get for failing an exam. At least it's only one, but it's a hard one.

Glad the majority of you enjoyed Labor Day. Cheer up for the rest !

Pretty much like every other day, save for the sinus infection, sprained ankle, and crushed garage door...

The brauts were good at least

              Sorry to hear that Zokes

That was organised very quickly. My friend who died on August 25th won't be buried until this Thursday.

                Condolences Zokes

We had a big family picnic at our middle sons house. All our kids & spouses, their kids and dogs included. Lots of food, drink, desserts and especially noise

Sorry to hear about that Zokes, my condolances.

Hey ND66, we must have missed each other. We also spent the weekend in Toronto. We took in Ontario place, but we saw the chinese lantern fesitval at night, and it was amazing. On Sunday we spent the whole day at the Toronto Zoo. There were lots to see and do. The kids had a blast. I wish every weekend was a three day weekend.

I'm sure it was, just we were kind of dead when the evening approached, after the whole night of driving prior to this one. Wish I could stay there for the night festival… .

Hey, Zokes. Sorry to hear about your grandma.

Thanks guys. Surprising how many people knew her. There must have been at least 200 people at least that stopped by.

                          Btw, happy birthday Fat Tone.
