Correct. Even if the guy doesn't die the kidnapping law in Nevada has an enhanced sentence if "harm" is done, and if stress connected the heart attack could qualify. It could also raise any bail that's set later.

He might not get bail. The guy is a demonstrated flight risk.

He has to pay the full amount, not the usual 10%. This makes it the equivalent of $1.25 million under normal circumstances.

Just thought of something else; in new recordings made public last night it's mentioned that he's been laundering money offshore, which is illegal. I'm sure the guys at the Justice Dept. will be very interested.

The crimes that would entail are largely under the anti-racketeering statute known as RICO, and it's unusual in that not only can the feds file RICO charges but so can private citizens in civil court...and opening for the Brown family to stick him again but in this case they could attach his home and retirement.

That hole just gets deeper and deeper.....
