Interesting, normally I see her turning clockwise, if I move my eyes away from her down to the left, I see her turn anti-clockwise, until I look straight at her again.

    Cheers,

Its spinning both ways. It's a sillouette from straight on view with no depth cues at all; there is no way it could NOT be spinning both ways.

I agree... but it makes one wonder why some people start out seeing it CW and others CCW.

Most people see it clockwise at first, which of course is contrary to what the site claims, right? *shrug*
Of course, murcers tend to be computer users, so there is a bias here.

When I looked at her last night just before bed she was spinning counter-clockwise. With concentration I could get her to spin clockwise but she'd reverse again at the first blink. This morning, my brain is (presumably) fully rested. At first glance she's spinning clockwise. If I blink she reverses direction until I blink again and she resumes CW rotation.

I cannot force her to spin CCW if I already see her spinning CW, but as I said, if I blink she'll spin CCW.

I presume this means I'm at my most creative in the morning and most analytical in the evening, which makes sense.
