That can't be accurate. Danes and Germans drink more alcohol than that. Norway would be up there if they counted all the bootleg liquor (highest alhocol tax in the world, or at least one of them).

The figures certainly do not agree with WHO statistics. Russia, Ukraine, Byelorus (sp?) knock NH into a cocked hat, as would many counties in the UK, which has an average of >2 l over the US average.

I'm disappointed. Molson, Labatt, and many popular micro-breweries are founded in Quebec yet we're barely on the map.

Oh I know why, it's cause the alcohol content in our beer is usually between 4% and 9%. But still, disappointing.
