Am I a softy or did parts of it make you want to cry? And if you've seen it, you know the parts.

It was a movie of despair and faith. And not not necessarily the faith in god/Jehovah/Allah/The Great Spaghetti Monster/etc . . . .

Well I'm big animal lover and what he had to do in the movie would have devastated me, esp in the situation he was in. I dunno about crying but yeah I think I would have in his shoes..

BTW I saw on wikipedia that a possible sequel to the movie has been written
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

I saw this flic a few days ago.
Not bad, but not what I was expecting either. It was more horror than anything indicated...none of the TV commercials I saw for it gave the slightest hint of blood-thirsty mutant zombies.

When I first saw the early promos of the movie, it was clear that there were zombies that will only be active in the dark i.e. at night or in the shadows during day time etc. very cool.

This is one movie I am buying

Yet another movie where they seemingly based it not on the actual story, but the condensed summary on the backside of the book
If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

Watched this last night on Blu-ray. Manhatten looks amazing! The sound is awesome in TrueHD.

The movie was pretty good. Kind of depressing. There are two endings on the blu-ray version (not sue about the DVD version). Both were OK, but not great. All-in-all I liked it.

There are tons of special features to watch on this disc. I have only seen a fraction of it and so far, it's great! It's all in 1080i/p so it looks good too.
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

The movie was at best average.
                - Acting was below average (but I'm spoiled I go to real theatres with good actors several times a month)
                - Some inaccuracies impossibilities just killed it for me.

OK, it did have great potential but thy didn't take advantage of it.
