The impressionI got from the literature is that you can find just about everything you want in sufficient quantity to even randomize them if you chose to do so. Except maybe male homosexual couples with a child. But even in this category I am sure that there will be enough individuals if one looks hard enough.

I do not know the legislation but if the reasons are legal then they should be protected if they participated in the study

no it doesn't. a handshake is just not the same as a french kiss.

if same-sex parents is the same as same-sex parents who are also a couple

then any person with a flat-mate is the same as any married couple.

and by the way trying to attribute a quality to a person........ I was about to write something really nasty, but well deserved for your behaviour but I won't.
        it just not worth it.

          Edit:

sorry didn't read the question properly. I thought you were referring to this
That does beg the question, again, whether we should deny thousands of people the choice in their persuit of hapiness just because of the (still) unsubstantiated notion that gay couples are unfit to raise kids?
          1. Yes.
          2. No, unless you were to state that your inital post in this thread was not meant as a call to deny (by law) samesex-partners the option of having kids one way or the other.
          3. I was.

I obviously do not agree with same-sex couples adopting kids or become pregnant in order to be able to have the opportunity to raise a child with their same-sex partner until there is enough evidence to support not whether THEY are fit or not but whether the child is affected regardless of their fitness.

But I will be more willing to accept it under certain circumstances exclusively for lesbian partners since there is more evidence to support that it might not have a significant impact on the child.
