                  reading through a few more comments, apperently the kid was caught peaking at his presents before hand.

                    Actually, the kid never peaked at anything because he never had an Xbox to peak at to begin with. According to Engadget, they have talked with the parents and they have admitted to setting up the practical joke and that there never was an Xbox 360, just a box.
                    Engadget is trying to give the kid a free Xbox but they are trying to make sure it actually gets to him and they have the right kid.
                    Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.
