Hmm, I tried this again today in IE7 and get a much lower ping and better upload than yesterday with Firefox. Ran it again today in Firefox to verify. What gives?

Definitely not doing this test - I know there are some people here who would just destroy every previous post.

Ping, down- and up-load times vary all the time.

I just did the same as my previous one:

The VisualRoute map below shows the ping times to each step of the route to the same IP no. The blue line is the average while the max and min values are shown by the vertical lines for each step. You can see that these vary enormously. Anyway, stop complaining and think of us poor buggers who cannot get better than 1 Mbit/s theoretical download - and even that costs a fortune!

I get a better response from the New York server than from the Frederick, Maryland server.

Nope, and likely never will. Colorado is Qwest country, even though I work for Verizon here.

That sucks. I don't have it here either. I'd switch in a heart beat just to try something besides comcast. Verizon is one of my biggest customers I work with so I am always bugging them about when they are coming out this way

                      DAMN! x2

I'm surprised they give you access to that much bandwidth.
