Well, i'm still watchin the marathon. At the time of this post, they're at s4e'410' ( which is actually the 8th ep of the season).
2 more eps after this one till the new ep.

Watchin all the various commercials throughout today about "Who's the final cylon?", I notice that they flash pics of pretty much everyone who's ever been in the series...EXCEPT Zarek.
So that's where my final bet is.
I just think it would be poetic to have the hero of the original series to be the last Cylon of this series.
We'll know in 2-3 hours (probably closer to 3 hours, cause they will prob wait till the last scene of the new ep to reveal it)

Just an interesting production/cast note....
While watching ep "408", where Pres Roslin is talking to a dying woman in sick bay...that dying woman's voice seemed familiar...and looked somewhat familiar.
And she was.

And I just saw the scene where D'Anna was meeting with Pres Roslin, after the destruction of the hub. OK...at the begining of ep "412", after the hub is destroyed, and D'Anna is talking to the Pres, she DOES in fact say "there are FOUR on your fleet...because I WANT there to be four."
So she is in denial (or trying to mislead).
She is only acknowledging the four that have already been revealed.
1-2 hours till the final is revealed

So at the end of the new ep, they did not make it clear. They left several possible options for the final 5th.
Last scene made it seem close to 'fer sher', but not totally.

'Earth' is toasted, as we knew from season 4.0....
Uninhabitable wastlelands.
1/2way through the ep., Kara(Starbuck) found a burnt up viper on 'Earth', and in the cockpit were the charred (unidentifiable) remains of a pilot with her dogtags.
Near the end, Col. Ty had visions of his dead wife, Ellen, were she pretty much told him they would be together again, hinting at resurrection, and that she was the fifth (I highly doubt this scenario).
Throughout the ep, there were little hints it could be the Admiral, the Pres, Dee, Baltar,Lee Adama (Apollo), and even Romo (the lawyer that rep'd Baltar, not even introduced to the series till late in s3). None very substantial hints.
Throughout the ep, there was many cut scenes picturing Felix Gaeta looking on from the background, often humming, though he never spoke a line. (hmmmmm)
No scenes at all of Zarek. (which to me is suspicious, tends to mislead)
End of episode, they decide the 13th colony 'MAY' have been a colony of Cylons (they did find cylon centurian remains, though different from what they are familiar with), fleet abandons 'Earth' and are going to move on....
The living Cylons kinda made it seem like 'WE' (you, me, everyone here today) are the 5th Cylon, and WE destroy the world (got kinda 'deep' there for 10 mins).
Still up in the air. They told us the 5th would be revealed tonight.....they lied.

Some sort of resurrection device within range of earth that regenerated/regenerates the original 5 and did the same to Starbuck?
Alternate reality? Far less likely.
Wondering if the prophecies were from a time traveler but that's been done before many times in other shows.
Ty was strongly convinced that Ellen was the fifth. Like buried memories.
