    Woot, got a job!

    Sort of tech support/miscellaneous stuff at a lotto ticket printing company. Just for the summer, and decent $rate for a computer related job for someone who has no computer science background muahahaha

    So now I've got a job -> money saved + cash flow = new computer shortly!
    Q9450 + TRUE, G.Skill 2x2GB DDR2, GTX 560, ASUS X48, 1TB WD Black, Windows 7 64-bit, LG M2762D-PM 27" + 17" LG 1752TX, Corsair HX620, Antec P182, Logitech G5 (Blue)

    Congrats Mehen! I take it for granted that some of the people here don't have 15 years 'in the industry.' Glad to hear you've gotten your in. The first one is the hard one. The second hard one is getting a chance to move from support to network. It's doable though.

      Heh, excellent marks in high school, 4 years of University. Nothing in the computer field. And yet...
      Wonder what 6 years of MURC counts for...

        You'd be surprised. My degree in college was sculpture with a concentration in print making and an art history minor. Tell me how messing with chainsaws, chisels, acid and all manners of goo applies to computers? If you're smart and have ANY degree you can go far in tech. The degree just helps prove you CAN think to the employer.
