Yeah that's pretty much how I felt. I went in EXPECTING to be entertained, perhaps with expectations that were otherwise TOO HIGH. I should have learned my lesson after the last Hulk movie, and after X-Men 3, but I didn't. So I went in, expecting a really well done movie, and instead got ... a REALLY REALLY ENORMOUSLY WELL DONE MOVIE!

My guess is that Mr. Jon Favreau has graduated from being a "plus one" in Daredevil to a genuine action director who will get a sh*tload of offers, and SOON. In interviews he has said he was a Marvel fanboy as a kid and that this was a labor of love.
