Wiimote Hack Converts TV into Touchless Microsoft Surface

This user interface project allows you to control objects on a display using gestures, working like Microsoft's Surface but without touching the screen at all. Inspired by Johnny Chung Lee's work, the system requires you to wear Minority Report-style gloves equipped with infrared emitters on your fingertips. A Wiimote on top of the display keeps track of these IR LEDs, while the software can read the motion down to two-finger pinching gestures for image zooming. Hopefuly, using it won't convert you into a sofa-jumping, grinning-crazy, Scientology-member maniac. [Oh Gizmo]

I'd love to know what that test-bed has under the hood.

4 GB video ram, 32 GB system ram, and 4 quad-core xeon processors?

(Actually that sounds like a pretty sweet setup!)

People are doing a lot of neat stuff with wiimotes. It's a 1024x768 limited spectrum (infrared?) camera/motion sensor. There are lot of hacks where you use it for depth of field gaming or even using a screen as a dry erase board with an infrared pen. I've actually picked up a bluetooth adapter for my desktop to play with it with my projector.

Dude, get over yourself. You have to leverage your core synergies, benchmark the actualized quality matrix, and embrace the key initiative of your life!

            ...

            ...

Am I the only one who objects to pluralization of words that cannot be plural?

            "Infinities"

            "Syngergies"

            "Singularities"

            *sigh*

I'm the least you could do, oh yeah
If only life were as easy as you
            I would still get screwed

Yeah but to get over it I have to think outside the box... or is that think inside their box?
