Good luck, layoffs are always a bitch.

GM is laying off too, except for those people who are working on the Volt and its family plus they're building a new plant in Flint MI for its charging engine. Might also be used in hybrids and small vehicles, but Volt is the priority.

If the worst comes to pass - then come to Denmark! We are desperate for qualified workers of all sorts.

I think we have less than 1.5% unemployment. And of those 1.5% most of them has little on no interest in actually getting employed.

It's never funny to be part of a layoff.
I've never tried it personally (though my father has and that wasn't funny) and as DukeP says, we can actually shop around for jobs in Denmark (I just did and started a new job yeasterday).
