  • "Green Lantern" (2010)

Not much info as yet that can be posted, but it looks to shoot in spring 2009 for a 2010-ish release.

Warner's going with the Hal Jordan (Silver Age) incarnation and the execs supposedly want Ryan Gosling to put on the suit and ring.

Gosling has an Academy Award nomination for best actor under his belt for 2006's "Half Nelson".

As for the script: there is an early draft making the rounds, and if it's the basis of this film it'll ROCK LIKE HELL!!

    Also:

    Batman 3 Summer 2011
    Superman reboot Summer 2012

Also in the mix is THE FLASH

ALL are said to be "darker", more realistic adaptations along the lines of Batman Begins & Dark Knight.

Rumor has it Brandon (Superman Returns) Routh might be making a cameo of sorts in Green Lantern as well with the way things are progressing.

He's also rumored to be in the Superman 'reboot', which is more and more sounding like less a reboot than a continuation with a change in theme - mainly pretending Superman Returns didn't happen - and a darker/realistic tone in line with what they've done to Batman.

Also heard of a David Goyer project WB loves - Green Arrow, formerly titled SuperMax. More in another thread....
