The Great American Pants Suit — the new benchmark for audacious litigation — will ooze to the surface again today. Roy Pearson, the former Washington, D.C. administrative law judge who sued his dry cleaner for $54 million over a pair of lost pants, takes his case to the D.C. Court of Appeals.
