Forbidden Planet (201?)

J. Michael Stracynski (Babylon 5, Changeling, World War Z -coming, Lensman - in development) and James Cameron (!!) are working on a trilogy that will start with the Bellerophon arriving at Altair 4 and what follows then move on to the second ship arriving to unravel what happened.

There is apparently a huge plot evolution that while not changing a frame of the original film puts a whole new twist on those events

I loved the original! Such a strong story (it helps when your characters are inspired by Shakespeare - The Tempest).
