The US Supreme Court has denied John Allen Muhammad's appeal and the governor of Virginia has already stated he has seen nothing that would move him to give Muhammad clemency, so it looks like his execution by lethal injection is on for tomorrow at 9 PM EST.
His accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, was too young at the time of the crimes to be sentenced to death.
In his statements Malvo revealed Muhammad's 3-part 'master plan';
1. the DC/Beltway shootings
2. move to Baltimore, Maryland where they would first shoot a pregnant woman in the stomach and then a police officer. At the officers funeral they would set off several IED's (improvised explosive devices) to take out as many cops and local officials as possible.
3. relocate to Canada where they would bring more youngsters into 'the fold' and train them to carry out more shooting spree's.
