Caddillac Converj gets a "go"

Confirmed in a press conference today. To be produced using the Voltec drive line used in the Volt.

They're also adding 40,000 production units at their CAMI plant in Oshawa, Ontario because of high demand for the Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain mid-size SUV's.

Also: GM sales in China are up 50% to 1.5 million units for just the first 10 months of '09 and skyrocketing, with most sales being Buicks.

New tidbits

1: GM's Bob Lutz all but confirmed, with a huge grin, that a Super Sport (SS) version of the Voltec drive line is in the works.

2: GM will keep Opel and re-launch it.
