    Hootie back on top.....

    Darius Rucker, former lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish, just won himself a major Country Music Assosiation award: new artist of the year. His first country album "Learn to Live" sold over 1 million copies.

    This makes him only the 2nd black artist to win a major individual CMA award, with Charlie Pride winning the other.

      Another...huh ? I never liked the band or the singer, thought his voice was annoying as heck.
      Good for him though.
