Severely fined... but as a sketch, it is funny...
My father once had a police escort: when travelling we needed a hospital for me, but he didn't know the way and was using his strong headlights (traffic permitting) to see the roadsigns quicker. And he got pulled over... explained the situation, and ... was given an escort. By shear coincidence, the police was checking most intersections between us and the hospital, so our escort radioed those to let us through (we ran red lights)! The hospital was also notified, and were waiting for us.
The police say they'd request a copy of the medical record for proof purposes, but this was no problem of course. It was quite cool - 170 kph on a city ring where 70 is maximum - ... not worth spending the next two weeks in hospital-cool, but still...
