Congratulations! I've been a good boy at work and I can order a new rig for myself to replace crappy Celeron 2.2GHz I have there now.

hm..wonder why they don't offer any 5700 series cards as an option....

There's about 9 of those in my basement. Need to get rid of them at a yard sale.

Very similar to configuration we buy for developers at work. Except we give them Quad CPU and low-end videocard.

A good friend (some of you may remember him....Rags (yes, he still lives )) helped me choose these components. Many of the same parts he runs.
(these days I work with Rags, and deal with him several times a day (God help me ))

I can't wait till my parts get here.
I'll be able to game again!
This cluncker rig I have now crashes several times a night now just browsing. Won't run any modern game without lockups.

Lookin forward to a more modern system!

Looking around for a single slot DIrectX 11 card but I could not find one. Probably a good idea to wait for that I suppose.

Most have fans that stick out so far that they take up two slots.
Found this one but it only has one 1 DVI. I wonder if the display port clones the DVI port or if it is independant?
