I have a Verbatim wireless laser mouse. Recently, the left button did not always seem to work properly. Nuisance. I was using it yesterday when it stopped working vertically. I blew off the laser bitm thinking of a particle of dust. Made things worse, movements became totally random. Bull by the horns; Q-tipped round the 'ole where the laser shines invisibly. Movements cured perfectly AND the left button now works comme il faut. Must have been a question of the intermittent serial handshake on the laser blocking the button, Ã* la Toyota!

I got myself Thinkpad USB keyboard with trackpoint (work paid for it) and I'm pretty much mouse free.
