It was a nail biting, most intense, heart wrenching game ever! And with that win, Canada broke the world record for most gold medals won by any country in any winter Olympics ever!

I also like congratulate all the international winter Olympic winners!! WHAT AN EVENT!!

And most of the hockey players will still be around for the next Olympics and probably the one after it.

Look at all the guys just from the 2005 World Junior team; Perry, Getzlaf, Crosby, Seabrook, Weber, Bergeron, Richards. And then Doughty and Toews are even younger. And Nash, Keith, and Staal are just a little bit older. All of those guys should be good for the next 2 olympics. And some of the other guys might still be on the 2014 team (Iggy, the San Jose line, possibly Morrow).

You may not get so lucky the next time. Don’t forget, your team was a collection of all-stars, while our team was just a bunch of young players that came in there without a forecast for any medal.

The only thing better than winning a gold is winning a silver in a game people will talk about for decades. Congrats to Canada for winning the gold and to both teams for playing a fantastic game. At least twice I jumped out of the recliner so fast I think I pulled a hamstring
