  • Joran van der Sloot strikes again?

Suspected for years in the disappearance of American teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba, van der Sloot is now suspected in the murder of a Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez, a young Peruvian woman whose body was found in Lima. van der Sloot was the last person she was seen with.

If he's convicted I'm for turning this SOB over to the families for disposal

Apparently he's also very good at playing poker. What's it again what they say about people who lack any form of empathy?

They're known as psychopaths. Psychologist Robert Hare, creator of the Hare Psychopathy Checklist diagnostic guide, calls them "intraspecies predators"

      Fits.

The plot thickens....time to start warming up the wood chipper

        ABC News....

        >
Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez, 21, was found at the Miraflores Hotel Tac in Lima, Peru on Sunday in room registered to van der Sloot, who was arrested and released in connection with the disappearance of Holloway, an 18-year-old American student who went missing in Aruba five years ago this week.

Officials believe Flores was killed exactly five years after Holloway's May 30, 2005, disappearance.

Flores was found beaten and stabbed to death in a room booked in van der Sloot's name, police said. A hotel employee told police that Flores entered the hotel early Sunday morning with van der Sloot.

"We have an interview with a worker at the hotel who says she saw this foreigner with the victim enter his room," Peruvian police chief Gen. Cesar Guardia told reporters today.

The woman's father told reporters that the she was killed about 8 a.m. Sunday morning and the room was covered in blood, indicating a struggle had taken place.

Authorities believe van der Sloot fled Peru, passing through customs into Chile, and is on his way to Argentina. Peruvian officials have issued an international arrest warrant for the Dutchman.

He was just charged in the US with extortion and wire fraud. He got money for his trip to Peru from Natalee Holloway's mother - promising to reveal to her the location of Natalee's body

I'd bet there are other girls to be found in South and Central America, the Caribbean and perhaps Europe due to this s***stain. Another Ted Bundy.

            Try this for weird:

The FBI has been on this case for weeks and were tracking the money transfer, and Aruban authorities were involved. The FBI could/should have had the Aruba cops nail him and extradited the SOB, but they didn't.

This delay may well have cost Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez her life.

his father was high up in Aruba's judicial branch of power. Lots of rumours went around that he had 'bargaining power' to prevent Joran from getting sentenced. Maybe he informed his son about these before he died. Then again, the failure of getting conclusive proof against Joran (in his original case as well as the extortion) could very well be due to incompetence too (a very likely option imo).

Peruvian media is reporting that he's confessed....

                      LA Times....

Dutchman confesses to killing woman in Peru, police say

Joran van der Sloot also remains the top suspect in the disappearance of an American teen in Aruba.

                      LIMA, Peru —

                      — Longtime murder suspect Joran van der Sloot has confessed to killing a young Lima woman, police said early Tuesday.

The Dutchman, who had been detained twice in Aruba on suspicion of killing American teenager Natalee Holloway, was arrested last week on suspicion of killing Stephany Flores, 21, whom he had met while in Peru to play poker.

She was slain May 30 — five years to the day after Holloway, 18, vanished while on a school trip to Aruba.

He was arrested in Chile on Thursday and returned to Peru for questioning.

Van der Sloot, 22, and Flores were seen on hotel security cameras going into his room together. Four hours later, he was filmed leaving the room alone.

The woman's battered body was found on the room's floor more than two days later, her neck broken. By then he had gone to Chile.

At a news conference last week, Peruvian Interior Minister Octavio Salazar said Van der Sloot had paid a taxi driver $500 to take him across the border.

If tried and convicted of murder in Peru, Van der Sloot faces a potential prison term of 35 years.

Prosecutors in Aruba still consider Van der Sloot their No. 1 suspect in the Holloway case. Her body has not been found.

Days after the slaying in Peru, Van der Sloot was charged in the United States with trying to extort $250,000 from Holloway's family in exchange for disclosing the location of her body and describing how she died. U.S. prosecutors say $15,000 was transferred to a Dutch bank in his name.

Van der Sloot is the son of a respected lawyer in Aruba who died in February. He was 17 when Holloway disappeared in 2005.

read that he has given a statement consistent with manslaughter that would put him away for only for 5 - 7 years. So i don't believe his mum who is claiming he had been forced to admit guilt. He is now 22yrs old not under-aged like previously for the other case (17yrs). He already said he ran away as he could not move the victim's body without being noticed by hotel staff. His father is no longer alive to help him out this time (His dad passed away earlier this year). Hope he gets what he deserves.

And when he serves his term in Peru he's open for extradition to the US on the extortion/mail fraud charges then, if they gather enough circumstantial evidence, I believe the US can also try him on charges related to the Halloway crime - even if they have to charge it as an act of terrorism against a US national.
