    Holy $^#%, Primus is coming!

    Finally!

    Quite possibly my two favorite bands, in the same year, both coming to Winnipeg for the first time. Tool show is in just over 2.5 weeks, and now Primus in September. Have tickets to both

        Saw Metallica (for my first time) last October. Wicked show. That looks to be one hell of a lineup in that tour.

        I actually saw Megadeth open for the Heaven and Hell Tour (Sabbath w/ Dio) a little while ago, I was underwhelmed by Megadeth, but Sabbath was awesome, despite only playing the Dio years stuff.

          Tool show last night was amazing, I simply cannot believe how good they are. I kind of want to make the 5-hour drive to Regina and buy tickets to tonight's show as well.

            Tool are still going ?

            I saw them in Paris frontlining for Rage against the machine ( I preferred Tool to Rage...)
            It was before 1997....iirc

            They had an interview back then when they said that if they became too commercial they would fold the band and start anew......*cough cough* they may have forgotten that one

            I have the CD in a box somewhere....I loved the last track on the CD, 15 minutes of silence followed by a short commentary on something....
