"Despicable Me"

Just got home after seeing Despicable Me with our usual huge family group;

LOL!!!!

If you have kids, or are a big kid yourself, this is a movie for you. We had a great time. The kids will take it at their own level, and there are a lot of tidbits for the grownups to catch. A good one is on the the sign at the entrance to the Bank of Evil, an investment bank that funds the activities of super-villains

There is also enough potty/non-PC humor to keep the kids and grownups giggling.

Steve Carell voiced Gru, the main character, and did a great job. The rest of the cast included Jason Segel, Russell Brand and Julie Andrews.

Besides the main story of Gru vs. his enemy Vector there are the antics of Gru's minions, his little genmod helpers who have enough personality to fill a warehouse. Stay for the credits as there are minion segments through most of them.

My family saw it too and everyone liked it. The story is a bit predictable but still highly entertaining. We watched it at one of those old fashion small town single screen theaters which was pretty fun too.

It was hard to tell Steve Carell did the main voice, he did a great job of disguising his voice.
