  • My weekend - July 10-11, 2010

This year, I had the opportunity to attend both Mitsubishi Owner's Day (MOD) and the SocalEvo / South Coast Mitsubishi sponsored Evo day in the same weekend. Here's how it went down:

    Saturday, July 10

5:30am - I awoke from the annoying alarm of my cell phone. As I reluctantly sat up to find the source of the noise I realized that today was the day. Today was MOD.

    5:31am - Hit snooze.

5:36am - Annoyed by the alarm yet again, I decide it's time to get a move on. I began my morning ritual.

6:15am - Time to hit the road. Liv2Ride and I hopped into my loaner car (an Apex Silver 2009 Ralliart, courtesy of MMNA) and took the I-5 down towards Cypress. While on the highway, I received a call from a Mitsu employee who was organizing MOD...

    6:45am - *RING*
Dino, are you guys here yet?

Negative, I'm not even at our meet up spot yet. Once I get there, we still have to wait for everyone to show up, get organized, and roll in together.

Well, I need you to get here asap. I can't hold your parking area for long, cars are already backed up to Katella Ave.

Saturday alone with the missus as older son/wife takes Erik off our hands all day. Clean house? Clean out garage? Yard chores? I don't think so

Haha, my buddy brought his GoProHD to the auto-x event, so that's all the vid I got. I brought my D5000 so I just snapped still pics.
