Setup: after dinner jocularity.
The festivities were centered upon teasing Zero, a female Jack Russell terrier, with her favorite word - cheese. If she thinks she'll get some she goes nuts.
The more excited she gets, the faster she makes the rounds of everyone's laps, yapping the whole time. Then near disaster struck: grandson Kaden got up and left the table. Unfortunately, Kaden's preferred chair is on wheels and someone left the basement door open. Zzzoom!! - Zero surfs the chair straight for the stairs, eyes wide as saucers.
JUST before the chair takes its Newtonian trip into the basement, Zero manages to jump clear.
Everyone but Zero is LOL'ing, either because of the shocked look on her face or out of relief that we don't have to explain things to the vet
Kaden's chair, however, is going to need a little work....
