    Status: in development

    "The Authority" is a DC comic book about a superhero team in the Wildstorm universe.

    Original Authority roster

    Jenny Sparks: "Spirit of the 20th Century" - founder and original leader. Control over electricity and transform herself into electricity.

    Apollo: "Sun God" - a bioengineered, gay Superman-like character

    Midnighter: "Night's Bringer of War" - a gay Batman-like character & Apollo's lover

    Jeroen Thorndike: "The Doctor" - a super-shaman/junkie

    Angela Spica: "Engineer" - blood replaced with nanites

    Jack Hawksmoor: "King of the Cities" - wide ranging powers and, despite having deformed genitals, sometimes lover of Engineer.

    Shen Li-Min: "Swift" - a Tibetan woman with wings and talons
