I think with the usable demise of matrox vid cards, add in things like ars where its large enough to be able to pay for staff, and lots of us becoming busy with other things (for me, work, and well you saw the pics of my wife )our little hole here is very much like an old bar you drop into from time to catch up.

Even though i don't comment unless it takes my fancy, i kind of drop in almost every other day of the week to see if there's anything new. Like an old bar maybe but still a place to call home
