Doc could you do a write-up for dummies on all these new super-hero films for us folks who did not have the chance to read those comics.
For instance I heard of Superman, Spiderman, Batman, He-man, Flash Gordon, there was some cheesy german synched Supergirl series on Austrian TV and that's it. Now every year 3 movies about super-heroes come out I have never heard of and everyone seems to be in the know since forever about them.
The 4th picture looks to me: Captain America is some guy who carries large colourful object around battlefield, wearing construction helmet that doesn't belong in period, as British chaps observe presumably the Nazis.
Wikipedia has great if somewhat compressed summaries of all superheroes histories.
If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.
Jeremy Clarkson "806 brake horsepower..and that on that limp wrist faerie liquid the Americans call petrol, if you run it on the more explosive jungle juice we have in Europe you'd be getting 850 brake horsepower..."

Glad to. I'll work up the posts offline then put them up when I'm done. I'll do my best to keep things to the point for the versions of the characters currently in production.

The way I see it is, the costumes that are worn in the anime series work out no problems, once you put actors in a live action flick in those same costumes, it just doesn't work out at all and has that cheap look.
The first XMEN did something different to avoid the cheap look and invented their own suits that actually looked nice. Somehow the Captain America outfit doesn't look suited for live action.
News about Caps partner James "Bucky" Barnes: they're going with the stone-cold killer version, not the light-hearted kid sidekick.
Cool
For those not steeped in Captain America: Steve Rogers apparently gets assassinated after the Superhuman Registration Act induced Civil War and Bucky Barnes takes over as Captain America at the request of Tony Stark, but with an adamantium-laced uniform and big guns. Rogers returns and they both keep their respective uniforms for a while, but he then retires leaving Bucky as CA.
Bucky on right - played by Sebastian Stan
