      Don't see the point in that one. They won't be able to reproduce the chemistry between Gibson and Glover, so it's basically going to be yet another buddy cop movie with the Lethal name slapped on it.

      Not saying it couldn't be good, but there's no need to reboot that franchise.

        I guess it is rather "use of the title because it sounds familiar"... Things like interaction between characters or actors is always impossible to obtain in a remake; but maybe they won't try too hard and opt for another angle?

          Some experimental theater here is doing the sequel (live theatrical play) to Shining. I expect that to be good because I know some of the crew personally.

            King mentioned writing the sequel, Doctor Sleep, in late 2009. It takes place 40 years after the events of The Shining.
