Will Saso is a funny guy, I liked him on MadTV and S#i!
And he could make a decent Curly in a biop.
But NOBODY will ever be fully represent Curly, Moe or Larry.
Classic trio that can never be replaced.

Brad Garrett did a great biop of Jackie Gleason....would never work as a new Honeymooners series.

Jim Carrey did an amazing Andy Kaufman biop....Would have failed as a new Taxi series.

Doomed to failure if they try to make it more than a simpe biop. Nobody will ever replace the original Stooges.

Yup, no one could even come close. Says something that my grandsons still ROTFLMAO at their films 86 years after them first appearing in Vaudeville with Ted Healy (with Shemp, not Curly.)

Shemp was amusing. He had a few good momemts.
Curly Joe was a poor attempt to re-capture past glory.
Nobody can or will ever match the magic of the original Curly.

Rumor hitting the casting sites -

Moe: Hank Azaria (frontrunner)

Hank is another funny guy. His voice is heard all over the world, though most people have no idea who he is when they see him.
He's a hero, just because he got to sleep with Helen Hunt.

He could pull off Moe. (he already is Moe to the world, just not the same Moe )
