Explosion in Taylor garage kills 1, injures 2
Taylor-- Authorities say an explosion in home's garage in suburban Detroit has left a man dead and two other people injured.
Police say the blast happened Tuesday night in Taylor after someone reportedly poured gasoline on a fire in a wood-burning stove in the garage. The fire department says the stove may have been used to clean auto parts or used while repairing a vehicle.
The fire department says the garage collapsed after the explosion. Police say a 20-year-old man from Taylor died. His name wasn't immediately released.
A 17-year-old boy and 19-year-old woman, both from Taylor, were being treated for injuries at a Detroit hospital.
