    New camera and pics

    Hey Everyone

    Hope all is well? I recently upgraded to a Canon 7D and a 70-200mm f/2.8 L lens. I was so excited I had to share

    Here's the first picture that I took that I'm happy with. God I love this camera!

    Hey! Welcome back. Those are some sweet looking pictures. Is the camera pretty consumer friendly, or is it geared more towards pros/prosumers?

      Life is great, no complaints

      I would say don't buy the 7D if you are not comfortable shooting in full manual mode. The 60D has the same sensor but much more user friendly.

      Honestly, I would focus on a good lens and buying Lightroom before upgrading your body. My 2 cents

            I don't know for sure. She hasn't been on in ages. I know her photogaphy business was starting to pick up a while ago. She has a website but I don't remember the link.

            Sasqs got divorced, hitched, moved to Korea and then dropped off the face the Earth. He still maintains the site but I rarely see him anymore. Wedding photos are up on his site.

                @Jamm, thanks for the info on Sasq and sharing the link to his pictures. So the wedding pictures are of his current wife that he is still married to?

                  As far as I know...yes. Last I heard he relocated to S. Korea where she is from.

                    He's moved back to Australia. Haven't talked to him in a while, but that's largely my fault. I don't Skype as often as I should.
