Is your appartment easily accesible for those in wheelchairs? I smell a new project coming...

The showercabine is replaced and is being installed today; this allows them to finish the bathroom. Also, today the doors are being installed and on Monday/Tuesday the kitchen... Later in the week the airconditioning... And that would be it!

And it may get even better: my renovations finish, but new elevators are planned for this year, outside of the building will be renovated next year, electricity in the common corridor (cables going from the central "backbone" to the apartments - central backbone is new, as is my cable) are scheduled and planning is underway for the heating to be changed in 5-7 years (I have take that into account in my renovations: pipes are easily accessible and I have for instance spare bathroom tiles).

sounds like an ideal time in a year or so to sell and move to the GF. You might get back most of what you spent.

Another problem with the shower cabine... the door construction is bent... so it has been returned for replacement... At the earliest Tuesday would be the replacement...
I also misunderstood the kitchen thing: my kabinets would be finished on Monday, at the carpenter... So he would come later in the week.

Degrub: It is more likely she would move in with me (she currently lives with her parents). Somehow, we haven't really talked about it (in some "sit down, I want to talk to you" way), but we both feel the same, it just seems to come naturally. It is a perfect location for two young people, and we would be on our own.
