Nolan went out with a bang. Another Batman film with a different director (but Nolan still producing) is due after the Justice League film in 2015, so the new casting for Bats will appear in it.
Nolan's next act (as exec producer & guiding force) is the new Superman flick Man of Steel, which is to be a rather serious take as well. A trailer for it will be shown in IMAX before The Hobbit.
