  • The Magnificent Seven Jedi?

Disney/Lucasfilm and Zack Snyder (300, Man of Steel) are developing a Star Wars universe film parellel to Episode VII but loosely based on Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 flick The Seven Samurai, which was also the basis for The Magnificent Seven.

Hmmm, wouldn't a next SW episode better be based on Guns of Navarone or Dirty Dozen or something?

      Wouldn't doubt it.

Star Wars is already based on Hidden Fortress (Kurosawa).

Kurosawa simply rocks. I think his non-samurai films such as To Live or Red Beard or Yume might be even better than some of his samuarai ones.

I love IMDB's take on the "rumored" SWVII casting.
