2 bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston Marathon

Unconfirmed 3rd explosion, but could be the bomb squad disarming another device.

Minimum 2 dead, 22+ injured including many with missing limbs. 19 to Mass. General, 6 critical.

Just saying: today is the 100th birthday of Kim Il Sung, NK's first Dear Leader.

Could also be domestic.

Feds confirm 2 more bombs found, bomb squads working on them. Looking for more.

Unconfirmed 12 dead, some bodies being held in tents.

Other US cities going on high alert. Roads around the White House etc. closed.

Possible suspect in custody at a Boston hospital. Unconfirmed. Hopefully not a Richard Jewell deal (innocent man arrested after Olympic Park bombing.)

Sounds like 5 devices; 2 at the finish line, 1 at the JFK Library, 1 at a hotel, and 1 at an undefined location - the latter 2 being defused. Also seems they may have been set off by cell phones. Boston taking down cell services.

Sources say the man under arrest is a 20 y/o Saudi national who has a shrapnel wound.

That and 2 bombs together, one after the other to get stampeding people with the second device, is an AQ signature.

Washington DC, NYC, LA, San Francisco and London on high alert.

Sorry for the coming sarcasm, but I guess this has nothing to do with Islam and it's all because of the Israeli Palestinian conflict.

Now harsh but serious, Islam is not a religion, it's just the largest and most successful death cult in the world. Just like most terror organizations who have political, charity and armed branches, Islam as a whole has the same. Remember: the Sharia is the same for all Muslims.

I'm not speculating as to the origin of this tragedy.

I do take exception to TX's extremist racist remarks which are decidedly untrue. And the tiny minority of Islamic terrorists are no different to the tiny minority of terrorists engendered by every other religion, including his own. Brit HaKanaim was such a group who tried to impose Jewish religious law throughout Israel, just as some extremists try the same with Sharia law throughout Islam. The Inquisition tried to impose Christian Law throughout Christendom. Even the Kamikaze pilots during WWII were indoctrinated by Shinto extremists and Shinto is not even a religion so much as a philosophical way of life.

Brian, it's not racist, you know better. A person can choose his/her religion.
As for the rest, I do implore you to take your fondness of statistics and apply it here to see the number of what is commonly considered as terrorist activity and see which religion is behind it.
Just a quick reminder, the holy Christian state (Vatican) did not kill anyone I know of lately. The 'holy' Jewish neighborhood (Mea Shearim) are a bunch of lunatics but still did not kill or maim anyone I remember and are subjugated to the laws of secular Israel. Now do you want to check Sharia ruled countries? Say Afghanistan or KSA?

We're all entitled to have our subjective opinions, but do check your facts.

We have well over a quarter million (maybe 300,000) Muslims in our area of Michigan and they are most definitely valued and productive members of the community; mayors, prosecutors, judges, lawyers, medical, business (half the mom & pop grocers) etc. etc. The mayor of Wayne, MI (home of Ford's Wayne Assembly where Focus is made) is a Muslim and a family friend of many years.

The largest mosque (Shi'a) in the US is ~6 miles from here. I know the Imam there through our interfaith cooperation activities - a very nice guy who is no friend of the radical crowd. His mosque sits amidst 4 Christian churches on the same block, and there is a Synagogue nearby. No problems at all. In fact, Muslims and Jews coordinate to take over & operate our Christian operated food kitchens, charity operations etc. ove the Christmas and Easter holidays so we can be with our families. We return the favor.

Methinks there's a few lessons in there....

Add to that good lesson the fact that there is at least a fair chance that this has nothing to do with Islam to begin with.
Why even bring it up yet.
The same thing happened here in OKC. Some people started out just sure it was Muslims.

The attached photo is from the Gaza strip where hamas is throwing a celebration - having learned that Americans have had a terror attack and there are numerous victims. They are handing out candy, which is how always celebrate the death of innocent civilians.

The same stories of joy and celebration over the terrorist act come from every part of the Islamic world. Islamic jihad, hezbollah, al quaeda, salafi groups, and the rest of the murderous scum from the “religion of peace” have all expressed their joy along with hamas at the terrorist attack on US soil.
