The threat was in response to Chief Craig's Operation Restore Order, which has been hitting the drug gangs HARD with wide area raids involving hundreds of officers; Detroit, County, State and Federal.

Threat was received on Friday
DETROIT (WXYZ) - The FBI is investigating a death threat sent to Detroit Police Chief James Craig.
Deputy Chief Rodney Johnson says the threat was received through the internet on Friday and is is being taken seriously.
The FBI is working with Detroit Police Department to identify a suspect.
This death threat is said to have come through email from a suspected drug dealer.
Chief Craig is expected to address the issue at a press conference on Sunday.
