 Wow, that is amazing. I wonder how it would descend the stairs while carrying that 100lbs crate and whether it could also climb them with that weight (or at all).  Some of the jumping movements were very animal like - maybe different mammals for different movements. Bound to have some military version though - pays the bills for the research.Life is a bed of roses. Everyone else sees the roses, you are the one being gored by the thorns.

 The backward knee is very ostrich-like, which explains a lot as regards speed and maneuverability. Whatever, I'd bet a future version will be faster, stronger, and potentially very scary.
 
 Just imagine one tooling around the countryside with a mini-gun. grenade launcher or a 50 kW fiber laser. Yeetch....Dr. Mordrid
