Once they have an inventory of used booster this kind of launch will be so much more affordable.
Be interesting to see how the lower cost will change what organizations want to place in orbit.

An insight into how much operators save was revealed by BulgariaSat's CEO: 40% of their initial $250 million budget.

That'd pay for a few lattes at Starbucks.

Confirmation of tonight's attempt. The previous scrubs appear to have been caused by ground side equipment.

Thanks @INTELSAT! Really proud of the rocket and SpaceX team today. Min apogee requirement was 28,000 km, Falcon 9 achieved 43,000 km.

The extra apogee will make the plane change to equatorial much easier.

Which will allow the sat to keep itself positioned longer due to more retained fuel?

Absolutely! Years added to the mission so long as nothing breaks or it gets hit by debris. No doubt about it, Intelsat is a very happy customer.

This still isn't SpaceX's record over-performance to a GTO apogee. That would be a lighter bird which was pushed to 90,000 km. It also pushed DSCOVR (Deep Space Climate Observatory ) to L1, a gravity well about 1,500,000 km out between Earth and the Sun
