Rumor mills say;
CEV (crew): Altair - Arabic for "flying one" or "the flyer"; 11th brightest star in the sky. A delta-Scuti variable star in the constellation Aquila. CEV has a variable crew complement of 4 - 6 .
LSAM (lander): Artemis - virgin goddess of the hunt & the moon and twin sister of Apollo. Also; 'Artemis II' was the lunar lander that was attacked by General Zod & co. in Superman II.
CLV (crew launcher): Ares I - Greek god of war & son of Zeus and Hera. Ares is also identified with Mars in Roman mythology. 'I' because of its single SRB booster.
CaLV (cargo launcher): Ares V - because of its five Space Shuttle Main Engines. Also a result of wanting to identify with the Saturn V.
