Looks like a chamber blowout or bottom end structural failure from the way it fell straight down. The big bada-boom came when the tanks were ruptured.
Around the late 80's/early 90's Zenit was supposed to take over Soyuz launches, but with 9 failures in 62 attempts (14.5%) it's probably best it didn't.Last edited by Dr Mordrid; 31 January 2007, 07:44.Dr. Mordrid
