Rubble pile asteroid 25143 Itokawa

Asteroid 25143 Itokawa is a 535m Ã— 294m Ã— 209m "rubble pile" held together by gravity.

Images taken by the Japanese Hayabusa spacecraft. Looks to be 2 main collections stuck together in a weakly organized whole. Smooth areas are small particles.
