• Houston, we have another problem...

It seems that now there is another problem with the loo aboard the ISS...

Read all the nasty details here...

If it's a Gas Separator like they are saying, the Lactose Intolerant need not apply...

Oh well, look at it this way: At least they can wring out the air scrubbers for RCS fuel now!

The RCS systems don't use methane, they use hypergolic fuels which means the thruster only needs two controls - one for each of the two fuels (often nitrogen tetroxide as the oxidizer & monomethyl hydrazine as the fuel) - and no need for an igniter.

Obviously, you have never eaten some of my Friends' Chili or Ribs...

You should eat the ribs/chili that I make - heavy on the home-grown nasty habaneros, but next summer I want to put in a patch of Naga Jolokias (at >1.5 million Scoville units the new Guinness record holder.)

Naga = "cobra"; Jolokia = "chili"

But are the after effects hypergolic? I can say from Experience that Mike Lamb's Chili is definitely hypergolic after the post-digestion phase is done...

According to my wife and the wives of my sons the chili I make is most definitely hypergolic
